Regina Gold Medal Softball 

GOLD MEDAL CAMPS - 2002/2003

 This is the line up of Gold Medal Camps for the fall and winter, 

2002/2003 season.  

Players should pre-register by calling Dave Pearce @ 731-3267

We require a minimum of 14 players to run any camp.  

All sessions are held at Henry Janzen School

            This camp is for pitchers who have had no previous instruction.  It will focus on the basic throwing mechanics and body levers.  

Three consecutive Sundays from 6:30 to 7:30

COST: $20.00 includes Level 1 Pitching Made Easy Manual

            This camp includes six hours of hitting to develop the basic swing.  Emphasis will be on body mechanics and generating power.  Players must bring their own bat and a batting glove if possible.  

Three consecutive Sundays from 7:45 to 9:30. 

 COST:  $30.00 includes Gold Medal Hitting Part 1

            This will be 9 hours of concentrated pitching.  The instruction will include Pitching Mechanics, The Mechanics of Control, Developing Speed,  Basic Down Spin,  Pitching Rules and Proper Warm-up Methods.  

Three Sundays, 6:30 to 9:30. 

 COST:  $40.00 includes manual, Pitching Made Easy - Level 1

            This camp will build on the previous one with more advanced hitting techniques. Subjects include Sacrifice and Slap Bunt Techniques, Inside-out Swing, Batting Drills, Basic Mental Applications and Basic Hitting Tactics.  

Three Sundays, 6:30 to 9:30 

 COST:   $40.00 includes Gold Medal Hitting, Part 2.

            This camp is meant for pitchers who have sound throwing mechanics and want to learn more advanced pitching skills.  We will teach the Basic Pitches, Basic Pitching Strategy, Use of Pitching Speeds and Using the Strike Zone.
